It was on a beautiful late summer day and on the twisty track of Fontjoncousse, that Luc Alphand first rode the new version of the 2WD buggy.

"I know Eric Mozas' 2WD team very well," comments Luc Alphand, former ski champion and Dakar winner, "because they are "old" Cross-Country guys and excellent professionals but I had never ridden the 2WD Buggy before. It was a real discovery and I had a great time driving it!
It is a new chassis, developed by 2WD, which equips this version 2.0, so it had to be tested on an off-road track to set-up the BOS suspensions. I must admit I was surprised by the potential of this Buggy 2WD which has a very good base, an excellent chassis, and is equipped with a really powerful Chevrolet V8! It's a great machine for the next Dakar in the dunes of Peru!"

As a reminder, the "old version" 2WD Buggy is also available for hire. His performances in the hands of Cyril Després, Eugenio Amos or Thierry Magnaldi have long proven his qualities (Several stage victories with Cyril Després and Eugenio Amos, 3 stage victories for Thierry Magnaldi at the Africa Race 2017, 4th place overall for Amos at the SWR 2017, 4th place overall for Després at the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2018... )

In short and without going into details, the New 2WD is equipped with:
•BOS shock absorbers new technology
•Brakes with larger discs and new calipers to optimise braking.
•Air conditioning for comfort and to allow the crew to keep a better concentration.
•Improved engine management with MOTEC (Powerbox, PDM, programmable keypad etc.)

Both 2WD Buggies are for hire for the 2018 Morocco Rally in October, the 2019 Dakar in Peru or on the Africa Race.
