Parque La Pedreda was the location where all the bivouac infrastructure was placed, with the official support from the San Luis Government via the Tourism Ministry coordinated by Gonzalez Funes.
After the race, some of the main contenders of the race gave their opinion to the organization, like the local hero Martin Duplessis:
"It was a nice and fun race, I take the navigations serious. Luckily everything was fine, the track was ok, there was no mud and it was good to pick up some speed."
" i want to congratulate the organization for the security of the event, the track was good and we didn't find any car on the race track. Racing here was a good training for me and i'm very happy for the race to be hold in Villa Mercedes. I want to thank the province government (San Luis), to the Tourism Ministry and to everybody that follows me and to my family. I'm happy to finish the race" said the local rider that won the Rally Raid Moto M-1 category.
"It was a nice race. In the first 20km i got very wet, than i was able to dry up a little bit, and finally i got wet again. At least the race track was sand and i didn't get muddy. I was a stage so nice like the one from yesterday. I'm happy with the navigation and with the route, because i didn't make any mistake and my quad was spectacular, and i finished all the small details to face the Dakar. I came here to train and to not lose the rhythm, because there are many riders out of the Dakar rally due to the poor training. I still have to race the last Ca-Nav event in San Juan. I will be handing up kilometers to arrive to the Dakar in my top form. Yesterday i was able to gain advantage and today i was able to keep that difference. It was a nice weekend."
"A very different race with a lot of mud and rain. It was fun. We raced well, with very good navigation. The experience of racing in the rain was very nice. I was happy because we achieved what we came for and above all with the good results we got." About his car: "The car was excellent. I gave it a beating but the suspension hold it very well. I want to thank to Pablo Jaton and to Ariel Rivadeneira, who are the responsable for our result."
Facundo Jaton, from Rally Raid T1 category said:
"Everything went well. Today was more relaxed and we were able to keep what we won yesterday" said the driver.
"It was a nice stage and my co-driver was spectacular. With just only 15km to go we had a shortage of petrol, but everything went well. Our UTV was perfect", he said.
Maximiliano Kowalski won in the N1 Class, second was Pablo Roa and the third was Álvaro Coppola. In N2, Marcelo Ponce won with the Can-Am 800, second was Sebastián Saldaña and third Jorge Gorini. In N4 the winner was Fabián Aiello, followed by Nicolás Decoubette in second and Nicolás Gogg in third.
