Jakub Przygonski, fifth overall in Dakar 2018 will now change the landscape from the sand and mountains of South America to the frozen tracks of the Republic of Karelia, in Russia where he will enter in the 1st race of the FIA's 2018 calendar.
The Polish driver will once again race in a Mini John Cooper Works Rally built and prepared by X-Raid, the German based team. Tom Colsoul will be once again be the co-driver of "Kuba" in this race, aiming for another good result overall.
The X-Raid duo will face a strong competition with several top drivers also taking part in this race including Nasser Al-Attiyah (Overdrive Toyota), Vladimir Vasyliev (Mini One), Boris Gadasin (G-Force BARS) and Martin Prokop (Ford F150 Evo) just to mention some. And we must not forget Aron Domzala, another fast Polish driver aiming to the top of the classification with is Overdrive Toyota.
The race start's on the 16th with a short prologue of just 19,11 Km. Than, on saturday 17 the teams will tackle 2 stages, one with 103km and another with 170. Sunday the race will come to an end, after another 2 stages - SS4 with 124km and SS5 with 103.
