Scheduled to take place from 17 to 22 of April, Qatar Cross Country Rally 2018 will be once more part of the FIA World Cup for Cross Country Rallies and of FIM World Championship.
The unforgiving Qatari desert will receive the best drivers and riders fighting for the world title, running in a

"Varied desert terrain of soft sand, of dunes, of hard and rocky ground all provide suitable challenges for our FIA World Cup and FIM World Championship contenders and competitors. This year we have five days of desert racing over new stages designed to test the driving, riding and especially the navigating skills over a total of almost 1380km of racing"

stated Abdulrahman Al-Mannai,  president of QMMF.

The event will start at April 17 in the premises of Losail International Circuit with the Administrative checks and scrutineering. The day will finish with the Ceremonial Start at the beginning of the night.
In the 18th of April the participants will have their first contact with the real race, fighting for the best finish in the Super Special Stage which will start at 17h00 local time.
The next four days will be spent in the desert, racing also four demanding legs, covering a total distance of 1970 Km, 1365 of those against the clock before reaching the final podium in the Losail Circuit.

The drivers and riders interested in race the Qatar Cross Country Rally 2018 will have the entry period with reduced fees opening at 15th of February and closing at the 15th of March. The entries will be definitively closed at the 5th  of April.
