bp Ultimate Adventure Team on the podium at the Rallye du Maroc 2025
Martim Ventura claims third place in the Rally2 class
The bp Ultimate Adventure Team continues to shine at the Rallye du Maroc, the final round of the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC).
In the fourth stage of the Moroccan event — a demanding 283 km timed special once again held around Erfoud — young rider Martim Ventura delivered an impressive performance, finishing third in the Rally2 category and confirming the strong pace he has shown throughout the rally.
In addition to his class podium, Martim Ventura also secured 10th place overall among the bikes, a field stacked with some of the world’s best riders. This remarkable result highlights the immense potential of the young Portuguese rider, who is making his W2RC desert debut in Morocco.
“It was a good day, but a tough one. I started the stage well, keeping my own rhythm, but later I caught up with other riders — it was the first time I rode alongside others, and I didn’t manage my navigation very well. I focused too much on them instead of on my own roadbook and ended up making mistakes. I need to improve this because it’s something that will happen often in the future. Still, I learned a lot from today. I started strong but lost a bit of time towards the end of the stage. The most important thing is to take the lessons and keep growing,”
said Martim Ventura, who rides a Honda HRC.
Tomorrow marks the fifth and final stage, the last loop around Erfoud, covering a total of 349 km, with 247 km against the clock.
