Bruno Santos completed his participation in the Rallye du Maroc on a positive note today — the final round of the World Rally Raid Championship (W2RC) — where, in the fourth and penultimate stage, he faced a demanding 283 km special stage aboard his Husqvarna 450 Rally.
The rider from Torres Vedras improved his Rally 2 classification by four positions compared to the previous day and remains within the Top 20 overall in his category.

“Today was a really fun and different day, but equally demanding. The tracks were very rough, alternating between fast and slower, more technical sections — sand, dry riverbeds… it was a very positive stage. The last few days were very hot, and today we even caught some rain. There was also a lot of wind early in the morning, but that actually helped to clear the dust from other riders.
I started well, made steady progress, caught two riders quite early, only had a small navigation mistake while riding in the dust, but managed to recover quickly and continue at a good pace with clear visibility. Later on, I caught up with another group of four bikes and managed to overtake them too. I gained several positions today. In the provisional standings I’m now 17th in Rally 2.
The rally is extremely competitive and physically demanding — I felt some strain in my arms and hands trying to hold on to the bike, as the tracks were really rough. But that’s the Rallye du Maroc — the terrain here is always tough. The main goal is being achieved: no crashes and always moving forward. Just one more stage to go,”
explained Bruno Santos, who is supported by Frutas Patrícia Pilar and Momento TT.

Tomorrow, the fifth and final stage will take place around Erfoud, covering a total of 349 km, of which 247 km will be against the clock.
