Tragic incident at the Morocco Desert Challenge
A tragic incident has occurred today during the Morocco Desert Challenge at km 54 of the special stage. Because of the dust the visibility was very reduced. Due to the violent impact the machine fall apart and took fire. In the crash, Patrice Garrouste, the driver, suffered important burns, but always remained conscient and was able to exit the car. Unfortunately, the co-driver Laurent Lichtleuchter died instantly.
