The 2024 BFGoodrich Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship (AORC) standings after the Loveday 400 have been released, with Beau Robinson and Shane Hutt leading the pack with a total of 1452 points.

Robinson and Hutt have been impressive across the opening three rounds, taking top honours at the Tatts Finke Desert Race and finishing in third in Loveday.

Following in second place, Mel Brandle and co-driver Liam Brandle have collected 1140 points to date in a stellar performance in the Pro Lite class.

The duo was able to move up the standings thanks to an imposing Loveday campaign, finishing third outright and improving on their eighth-place Finke finish.

Brandle also leads the Pro Lite class, coming in first for all three rounds of the season so far with a 1743-points total. Benjamin Falk and Johnny O’Connor are just 358 points behind the leader in second.

James Cook and navigator Corey Cooper currently sit third outright in the standings, 144 points behind the Brandle duo.

Cook and Cooper’s position is bolstered by strong finishes in the first two rounds of the season, second outright at Pooncarie and third at Finke – however the pair did not compete at Loveday.

In the Transportable Shade Sheds SXS Motorsport Australia Championship, James Mogford leads the way with 1368 points ahead of fellow Queenslander Glenn Brinkman.

Lachlan Bailey and Nathan Sracek are at the top of the SXS Pro standings in the AORC after taking the class victory in Loveday.

In Pro Buggy, there is a 20-point gap separating Jared Percival and Brenton Gallasch in first and Cook and Cooper in second.

Robinson and Hutt continue to hold first place for the Extreme 2WD class, finishing on top for the class in the first two rounds and claiming third in Loveday.

Dominating in the class in the season thus far, Michael Shipton and Paul Chorlton lead the Performance 2WD class, claiming first in every round with 1800 total points.

The duo has more than doubled Benjamin Oliver and Elena Kell’s points haul, the second-place pair having only competed in one event this year

Sportslite leader Paul Tinga eclipsing the field in their class on 1582 points, more than double that of any other class competitor.

Rick Chambers and navigator Cameron Chambers lead the Super 1650 class, while John White and Jack Brigs top the table in SXS Sport.

Rounding out the classes is Production 4WD and Extreme 4WD, lead by Norman Parker and navigator Mark Robertson and Brent Smoothy respectively.

The next round of the BFGoodrich Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship is the Markwell Group Gold City 450 on 30 August – 1 September.
