Long but smooth special stage the one that the Dakar 2024 participants faced today

With 462 kilometers of route, and 192 of transfer, there was no shortage of difficulties today as well. After a taste of dunes for 30 kilometers, the track was smooth but still with lots of stones, just not to forget those encountered at yesterday's Stage 1.

The organization certainly did not want to lower the bar for this 46th edition of the Dakar that did not seem to disappoint expectations already from the second day.
If in the first positions of the ranking the battle has just begun, the riders of the Ultimate category have to evaluate the strategy to be adopted to balance the race.
The fast tracks are appealing, but one cannot play it all on the second stage already.
Tomorrow will be the Marathon stage, where drivers will not have the assistance of mechanics at the bivouac, so tonight the teams will have to check the vehicles in detail to ensure maximum efficiency.

Andrea Schiumarini and Andrea Succi also took turns driving the CR 6, a two-wheel drive buggy, today, and they faced this second stage of Dakar 2024 at their best, placing 14th in Ultimate T1.2 Proto 4x2 Category.

"When we first saw the Century CR6, declares Schiumarini, we immediately thought of naming it Kitka, the character who in Batman is actually Catwoman, because of its bold lines and today we also tested its character. While trying to overtake a competitor, we found ourselves on tongues of sand covered by vegetation and literally took off. I must say that this car is fantastic! Today we wanted to be a bit daring and often found ourselves lifting our foot to not exceed the regulation speed limit of 170km/h. A challenging stage but definitely in our veins. Tomorrow is the Marathon stage and the feeling is good." Andrea Schiumarini
