Today was a short day of 'only' 300 kilometers that went well, without technical problems. The only defect was a deflating tire, but fortunately they were able to refill it during the test. It was difficult to navigate, but they got through that well, unlike some other trucks, which missed a waypoint and have been or will be penalized. The truck race was also canceled 25 kilometers before the end because it would be too dangerous for the public. The last waypoint will probably now be the end point, but that is not yet certain. It looks like Michiel, Wuf and Edwin finished fifth today!

Tomorrow there will be another short stage (119 km) and a long connection (527 km) before the 48-hour stage takes place on Thursday and Friday. The dunes of tomorrow should be able to be conquered within about three hours. It is a foretaste of the 600 kilometers of dunes that await them in the 48 hours! It's a matter of continuing to roll and keeping everything intact. The fact that everything has remained intact today and no crazy things have happened is a nice boost.
