4 months and 4 days, that's how long it took the CR7 from the first test drive to a Dakar stage podium. The satisfaction for everyone involved in this project cannot be described right now, we're just over the moon.
It took only a year between the first concept to the driving prototype and a clean sheet design coupled with no 4wd experience for the past ten years adds to the satisfaction.
Brian and Leonard drove a controlled stage with no mistake and were in fact surprised to find themselves so far up the order.
And to the midnight crew that worked relentlessly since the start of the rally (Toomas, Robert, Ian, Tavii, Kaspar, Lubomir, Stéphane and Donovan), this would not have been possible without you all.
2 more stages to go, 2 more opportunities to push the new machine further and add notes to the improvements list!
