Dakar 2024: Roma and Woolridge work to recover from stage 8th damage
Nani Roma and Alex Haro (#210) have returned to the fray with a new engine and are already into the day's stage. Nani Roma and Alex Haro (#210) returned to #Dakar2024 today for Stage 8, finishing the 458km special stage 24 min 12 sec off the fastest time. This would have placed them 29th for the day, but with a 20-hour penalty applied for yesterday's engine change, they were officially classified 138th. In the General Standings Nani and Alex are currently 103rd overall in the Car category.
The FIA has given the chassis and roll cage of the #225 T1+ Ranger of Gareth Woolridge and Boyd Dreyer a clean bill of health, proving just how strong the NWM Ranger is. It's being transported to the Ha'il bivouac this morning where the team will repair the car and get it ready for Stage 9 tomorrow. The team has been flat-out repairing the #225 T1+ Ranger today with all hands on deck to ensure that Gareth Woolridge and Boyd Dreyer will be back in action tomorrow.
