Supported by Momento TT, the rider always showed a very consistent pace throughout the 15 days in which more than 4,500 timed kilometers were contested and which he completed in a total of 59h08m38s. Today's 144km selective sector around Yanbu went smoothly and the XRaids Experience rider finished the race in 16th place in the Rally2 Ranking and in 28th place in the absolute motorcycle standings.
"My first Dakar is over. I was the second best Rookie and I'm very happy with this result. It was a great race. A tough Dakar where every day was a great challenge. We've been through a lot and psychologically it's been a very challenging competition. But it's great to be here at the end and to be on the podium. Today's stage was short, fast and easy and once again I rode without any problems. I felt a lot of support from Portugal and I'm really happy with this result. I'd like to thank all my sponsors who made it possible for me to fulfill this dream. To my family and friends I leave a huge hug for all their support. Thank you and a big thank you to everyone," said Bruno Santos at the end of the 46th edition of the Dakar Rally.
