Dakar 2025: Alexandre Pinto and Bernardo Oliveira receive another medal
The Old Friends Rally Team duo strengthened their lead in the World Rally Raid Championship
After a well-deserved day's rest, Alexandre Pinto and Bernardo Oliveira resumed their participation in the Dakar Rally and did not lose the habit of receiving their medals at the end of the day for another SSV victory in the World Rally Raid Championship, where they strengthened the lead they have held since the start of this mythical race in which they are making their debut. Today, the duo in the Can-Am entered by the Old Friends Rally Team faced a stage from Hail to Al Duwadimi. They covered more than 800 kilometers, of which 604 were timed and completed in 6h07m09s, in a stage that was also marked by some setbacks: a puncture and transmission problems caused the young driver and navigator duo to lose some time.
The next stage will be in Boucle, starting and finishing in Al Duwadimi. It will have a different route for motorcycles and cars. The special will be 411 km long for motorcycles and 418 km for cars. This stage will have all the ingredients: difficult navigation, a mixture of fast and slow terrain and, as icing on the icing on the cake, a mountain race.
