The Old Friends Rally Team duo finished third in the SSV category, won the first round of the World Championship, which they lead, and triumphed in the FIA Rookie Challenge.

Alexandre Pinto and Bernardo Oliveira stood on the podium of the 47th Dakar Rally today after completing the final stage of the world's biggest off-road marathon, which was considered by many to be the toughest and most difficult in recent years. A dream debut for these two young riders, aged 25 and 20 respectively, who took third place in the SSVs and won the first round of the World Championship and triumphed in the FIA Rookie Challenge.

At the controls of the Can-Am entered by the Old Friends Rally Team, the pair put in an exemplary performance throughout the race, demonstrating enormous competitiveness and always setting a fast pace, with virtually no navigation faults. Their performance also allowed them to stand out in the most difficult dune stage, after which Alexandre Pinto and Bernardo Oliveira were awarded medals for the best drivers under 30.

The last stage of the 47th Dakar Rally, consisting of a 61km timed special starting and finishing at the bivouac in Shubaytah, marked the end of this great adventure for Alexandre Pinto, who was very satisfied with the results achieved.

The 47th edition of the Dakar Rally, which began on January 3rd, came to an end today. Over the course of 14 days, 12 stages and a prologue were completed, covering a total of 8,000 kilometers, 5,000 of which were timed.
