The Old Friends Rally Team duo won all the stages and is the clear leader of the SSV World Championship

Alexandre Pinto has been unstoppable in the Dakar Rally 2025. Today, the 25-year-old driver, who is accompanied by the even younger 20-year-old Bernardo Oliveira, once again shone in the 47th edition of the world's most important off-road competition by winning the third stage of the SSV World Rally Raid Championship, continuing his winning streak in Dakar 2025. With a total of 15 points, Alexandre Pinto substantially strengthened his lead in the SSV World Championship. The Old Friends Rally Team duo also took another podium in the FIA Rookie Challenge.

“The stage was shorter, but no less demanding. The first 100 km were always on stone. It was a very tough stage for the mechanics of the car and for us too. It was very easy to make mistakes or puncture. At the end of the special we had many kilometers of liaison, so much so that we arrived at the bivouac at night. It was a long day, from morning to night, even though the special was short. We finished without any problems. It was another day of keeping a rhythm, accumulating kilometers and learning. We're very happy to receive another medal from the World Championship and we're ready for tomorrow, for the big marathon stage,” said Alexandre Pinto on arrival at the bivouac, who, at the controls of a Can-Am, spent 4h 00m 09s to complete the 327 km timed sector of the stage that linked Bisha to Al Henakiyah.

Tomorrow sees the fourth stage of the 47th edition of the Dakar Rally, the first part of the marathon stage that will take the delegation from Al Henakiyah to Alula over 415 timed kilometers. This will be another trial by fire. The technical tracks leading to AlUla will plunge riders and machines into the canyons for which the region is known. The riders will only have an hour and a half to work on their machines and will not have any assistance.
