Bruno Santos successfully completed the 10th stage of the Dakar Rally 2025 today, a day that marked his entry into the demanding dunes of the Empty Quarter and proved to be a real battle for drivers and machines. The driver supported by Frutas Patrícia Pilar, who has been making an excellent recovery throughout the second half of the 47th edition of the Dakar Rally, took a cautious approach today on the stage from Riyadh to Haradh, which included 115 timed kilometers out of a total of 635 km, in order to cope with the harshness of the dunes that will fill the next two stages.

Tomorrow sees the 11th stage in boucle form. The bivouac will remain in Shubaytah from where the competitors will depart and arrive. The journey will take in a 226 km loop and a 314 km timed sector. The great challenge of the Rub' al-Khālī, also known as the Empty Quarter - one of the largest deserts on the planet and the largest continuous area of sand in the world - reaches its peak on the eve of the final stage, a terrain that will be full of pitfalls in every Erg.
