After a long time of trying, Lorezon Santolino finally managed to win his first stage in the Dakar Rally, finishing ahead in the third stage of the Dakar 2025 which had total distance of 793 kilometers from Bisha to Al Henakiyah
Lorenzo Santolino : "Today’s stage was quite technical, with an abundance of rocks from the very start up to kilometer 100. I pushed hard, staying highly focused on navigation. I managed to catch up to Pablo, who had started 5 minutes ahead of me, in the fast section. We rode together, and I was able to maintain the lead.
Finally, achieving a stage victory is incredible—unbelievable, really. The stage alternated between very fast zones and more technical sections with heavy navigation in the last 150 kilometers. Despite the risks I took, it was worth it.
I’m incredibly happy, and I want to thank Sherco, all my sponsors, and especially my family for their constant support. My mother always believes in me, even when I struggle at certain crossings. Now, we move forward to the next challenge!"
