Luís Portela Morais and David Megre have already carried out the checks for the race

Luís Portela Morais and David Megre have already carried out the technical and administrative checks for the 2025 Dakar Rally and are finalizing the details for the start of this great adventure. The bp Ultimate Adventure Team drivers have carried out all the technical checks as normal and are now counting down to the first day of the race, which will take place tomorrow with the 29km prologue that will set the tone for lining up the drivers for the start of the first special stage.

“Today was a shakedown day. For David and me today was our second day here at the Dakar. Yesterday there was a sandstorm all day and all night. Fortunately it calmed down a bit during the shakedown, but it was a complicated night, with lots of noise. Fortunately, we have a Topo Tents that was able to alleviate the situation. Tomorrow sees the start of the Dakar with the prologue, which is very important for determining the starting order. We're all certainly going to do our best to represent Portugal in the best possible way,” said Luís Portela Morais

The 2025 edition of the Dakar Rally kicks off tomorrow with a 29km timed prologue where the drivers will cover wide dirt and gravel tracks interspersed with technical sections.
