  • Alberto Dorsch and Marcos Martinez were once again the best in their category and added their fourth victory of the season, a result that allowed them to sing the victory song with one race to go.
  • In his nineteenth participation in the Baja Aragón, the driver from Madrid completed for the ninth consecutive time the demanding route of the most international race of the Spanish Off-Road Rally Championship (CERTT).
  • “We are a team that loves and lives by and for the competition, and in the CERTT we have found our natural habitat in which we can enjoy to the fullest. I want to thank all those who have been involved in this project,” said Dorsch.

Kobe Motor added last weekend its fourth victory of the season in the Baja Aragón and mathematically certified its seventh national title in the T2 category of the Spanish Off-Road Rally Championship (CERTT). Alberto Dorsch and Marcos Martinez thus completed their particular winning streak that led them to revalidate the state crown among the 4x4 series vehicles.

The Baja Aragón, the race with more history and international repercussion of the CERTT, was once again a demanding test for the Kobe Motor team's ability to survive and adapt. Saturday was the hardest day with 354 timed kilometers, spread over two special stages, which Alberto Dorsch and Marcos Martinez overcame, once again showing their experience.

“SS1 surprised me very pleasantly. We came from a few years in which the Baja Aragon had very broken sections, very hard, in which it was easy to suffer mechanical problems. But this new special stage was the opposite, very fast and beautiful, in which we could enjoy the benefits of our veteran Toyota Land Cruiser”, explained the driver from Madrid.

“The second section on Saturday was a different story, much more similar to the specials of past editions. With our goal of reaching the finish line in mind, we slowed down the pace to avoid any incidents. Once again the car worked perfectly, we had no problems overcoming all the traps hidden in the route”, acknowledged the Kobe Motor driver.

After Saturday's tough stage, on Sunday the teams had to face a second pass through the first section of the previous day. SS3, with 161 km, was the last hurdle to overcome for the Madrid team. Without suffering any mishap, Alberto Dorsch reached the finish line in his nineteenth Baja Aragón, a milestone he has achieved in his last nine participations in the event in Teruel.

With the victory in the T2 category, Kobe Motor completed his winning streak this season, a triumph of double value, as it also served to certify, with one race to go, the revalidation of the national title in the class reserved for 4x4 series vehicles. With this, Alberto Dorsch, together with Marcos Martínez, added his seventh national crown in T2.

“It's always nice to complete the season by achieving the goals set. This seventh T2 title is a new demonstration of the work we all do both at Kobe Motor and Miracar, as we had to run a lot in the first races of the year. We are a team that loves and lives for the competition, and in the CERTT we have found our natural habitat in which we can enjoy to the maximum so that the T2 class remains alive. I want to thank all those who have been involved in this project”, added Alberto Dorsch, very satisfied with the work done.
