Baja Aragon 2024: Luck as not been with Jose Luis Garcias's team in the Baja España 2024
Luck has not accompanied the TIPO Racing Team by-Sport in the Baja España Aragón 2024, despite José Luis García and Manuel Navarro's magnificent Prologue Stage where they won the T1 and placed in the Top 5 of the Spanish Teams.
Without taking any risk in the driving due to the injury with which the driver started the race, García and Navarro obtained this great classification in the Prologue, “where we enjoyed a lot with the technical sections and the fast areas, despite not taking any risk in order not to punish my left shoulder. As it was the same Prologue as last year, we were very comfortable in a terrain that was familiar to us”, said García at the finish line.
With this magnificent result, the TIPO Racing Team by-Sport started the first Selective Sector with the handicap of having to overtake many vehicles in a dusty area that prevented visibility. And despite gaining positions, Garcia did not print a maximum attack in the early stages and was rolling with total ease, until he entered a curve without marking as attention or danger.
Garcia took the corner, leaning the car to the left to enter right, and at that moment, the MINI fell to an almost invisible side step of great height. The loss of support when falling into the void caused the Mini T1 X Raid JCW to overturn without physical consequences for the drivers.
Although the intention of the TIPO Racing Team by-Sport was to continue the race, García and Navarro were forced to abandon it. It so happens that at the time of repairing the vehicle, two other competitors were blown up on the same step.
