The fifth round of the Spanish Off-Road Rally Championship Loterías was held in Teruel on the occasion of the fortieth edition of the Baja España - Aragón, the main event of our category, which gathered in the Aragonese city almost two hundred teams, seventy-four of which were part of our competition.

Scoring one more season for the Baja World Cup, the Baja Aragón counted with the presence of the best international teams, which joined the best teams of our country for the dispute of an edition in which once again, the heat and dust were going to be the protagonists in the more than five hundred kilometers against the 'time' provided by the organization.

Enrolled at the last minute, replacing Daniel Alonso after a health problem of the latter, 'Nani' Roma took the victory together with Álex Haro in what is the first absolute victory of a T1+ vehicle in the CERTT Loterías. The Catalan, official Ford driver of the Dakar, drove the Ford Ranger of the Past Racing team to victory in an event in which he proved to be far superior to his rivals. The Portuguese Joao Dias and Joao Miranda were second with their OT3, completing the absolute podium the brothers Roberto and Hermán Rodríguez with their usual Herrator Inzane.

The top five positions were closed by two other Portuguese teams, formed by Jose Manuel Rogueira and Paulo Jorge Capela, with the other Ford Ranger T1+ of Past Racing; and Maria Luis Gameiro and Jose Marques and their MINI.

In Side by Side the final victory went to Teófilo Viñaras and Roberto Viñaras, who also won the exciting Yamaha YXZ 1000R Cup; with Edesio Caamaño and Carmelo Moliné accompanying them in second position in both categories.

Juan Morera and Lidia Ruba were the best in the Spanish All Terrain Regularity Rally Cup with their Toyota. Second were Marino San José and Noelia San José, closing the three positions of privilege Javier Foix and Xavier Juncosa that with these points are leaders in the absence of a test.

In the different classes, Roma-Haro won in T1+; Dias-Re did the same in T3; Enric Vila and Eduard Ferrán were the fastest in T4; and Diego Villanueva and Borja Aguado won in T1N.

Domingo Román and Óscar Bravo were the best in T1, Alberto Dorsch and Marcos Martínez in T2; Jonathan Gijón and César Fernández in Open; Matías Rodríguez and Sandra Guasch in T8; Maria Luis Gameiro in Female Drivers and Rosa Romero in Female Co-drivers.

The last round of the competition will be held on October 4 and 5 with a new edition of the  RallyTT Cuenca.
