We're pleased to see our drivers arrive at the end with the feeling that they've given everything and that we as a team have provided them with the best conditions to be at a high level in this World Cup event, where the best in the world are also present,” said David Vieira, manager of Santag Racing, at the end of the Baja Aragon, the FIA Bajas World Cup event held this weekend in Teruel, Spain.

João Dias and Pedro Ré in OT3 were fifth in the Challenger T3 category and finished in tenth place overall, a record that the driver described as “positive, despite not having performed well in the Prologue and having left for the first stage far behind and having to ride in the dust of many opponents”. João Dias highlighted the fact that this is the third year in a row that he has finished the Baja Aragon in the top 10 and that being among the best in the world is “a reason to trust in the work we and the team are doing”.

Rui Farinha, who was accompanied by Rui Pita in a Can Am, also reached the finish with satisfaction. “The car prepared by Santag Racing was magnificent and our objective was met,” said the driver. “We went backwards and forwards, always improving our record and facing the many difficulties of a very tough race, but we really enjoyed it, to the point of wanting to come back next year,” added Rui Farinha.

Santag Racing also took a second OT3 to Spain, the car with which Otávio Sousa Leite and João Miranda (OT3) took part in the race. “We've made a lot of progress with the OT3 and we really enjoyed the race,” said the Brazilian driver.
Cristiano Batista and Fausto Mota were in the race in a Can Am SSV T4 also prepared by Santag Racing, and although they didn't make it to the end, the driver emphasizes “the good progress we had in the first Selective Sectors”.

“In such a demanding race, both the drivers' behavior and the entire structure we set up in Teruel deserve our applause for the excellent performance of the whole team,” said David Vieira at the end of the race. Moreover, the merits of the Portuguese structure are evident in its presence at the bivouac, hosting the entire structure of the Belgian G Rally team, which entrusted Santag Racing with the catering service for all its drivers. “Fortunately, we are a structure that is also capable of providing this service, with the quality and hospitality that the drivers need in this type of event,” said David Vieira.
