The Algarve once again welcomes the national off-road caravan, this time for the season’s closing festivities, as the Baja de Lagos brings the car and bike championships to their final showdown.

After the success of last year’s edition, the Clube Automóvel do Algarve has introduced several new features. The first is the inclusion of the municipality of Aljezur in the race route, which will feature a selective sector of around 180 kilometres to be contested on 22 and 23 November. Action on the ground begins on Friday, the 21st, with another novelty: a seven-kilometre prologue to be held in Bensafrim.

The service park will be located next to the Lagos Marina. Teams and vehicles will also be present in the heart of the Discoveries city, with the start and final podium ceremonies — as well as the Parc Fermé — taking place on Avenida dos Descobrimentos, ready to launch and conclude the adventure across the never-before-raced tracks of the Espinhaço de Cão hills.

In the motorbikes, quads and SSV categories, Micael Simão, Tomás Paulo and Nelson Caxias already arrive crowned as the 2025 champions. In the car category, however, the final battle between João Ferreira and Gonçalo Guerreiro is still to be decided.

The Baja de Lagos is organised by the Clube Automóvel do Algarve, under the authority of the Portuguese Federation of Automobilism and Karting and the Portuguese Motorcycling Federation.
