  • Ferreira's winning streak continues
  • Strong comeback on the last day

Joao Ferreira and Filipe Palmeiro can look back on another successful weekend. The two of them finished the Baja TT Norte de Portugal in a very good second place. This is the fourth podium finish in a row for the two Portuguese in the MINI JCW Rally Plus.. Now there is a long break in the Portuguese Off-Road Championship, which lasts until the end of September.

Saturday did not go according to plan for Joao Ferreira. The Portuguese reached fourth and sixth place in the first two special stages. He therefore started the final day of the Baja in fourth place overall. Here, Ferreira and the MINI JCW Rally Plus once again showed their full potential. With a second place and a victory, Ferreira managed to move up to second place overall.

The next round of the Portuguese Off-Road Championship is the Baja TT Sharish Reguengos / Mourão (19 – 22 September 2024).

Joao Ferreira (MINI JCW Rally Plus): ‘On Saturday we just didn't have the pace. The result wasn't perfect, but it was still a good race in the end. At least we were able to collect important points for the championship.’
