Nuno Matos and Ricardo Claro are on their way to the Baja TT Oeste de Portugal, the event that closes the Portuguese Cross-Country Championship (CPTT) and in which the team from Portalegre is looking for a good result and the motivation to dream of other flights in the next season.

“We tried to correct the problem that took us out of the Baja Portalegre, but unfortunately the timing wasn't what we wanted and we ended up having much less time to prepare than we really wanted,” reveals the driver, assuming that the Baja TT Oeste de Portugal "will be the real test ” of the intervention carried out on the Amarok Proto.

According to Nuno Matos, the team sees this race as another important moment to gain experience and improve the car's performance, but he stresses that the latest tests have left the team optimistic about achieving a good result next weekend.

"It's our last race this season and another opportunity to compete in a territory that usually has a lot of public and off-road enthusiasts. We're excited and want to close the Championship with a positive result that will give us confidence for next season," he says.

Organized by Escuderia de Castelo Branco, the race will pass through the municipalities of Alenquer, Bombarral, Cadaval, Óbidos, Sobral de Monte Agraço and Torres Vedras. The competition starts on Saturday with the Prologue and the first selective sector, and ends on Sunday with the second selective sector, covering a total of 291.75 timed kilometers.
