Baja Oeste 2024: The date for Baja Oeste 2024 is approaching
The Baja Oeste (Portugal) is valid for all the Portuguese Auto and Moto championships and also for the FIM Bajas World Cup, Baja European Championship.
The Baja Oeste will be held in the western region of Portugal, an area north of the capital Lisbon, and will feature the most varied route in the entire Portuguese championship,passing thru farmland, orchards, forests, and even a section touching the Monte Junto mountain, with sandy tracks, muddy tracks, and some rocky tracks. The climate will be the final judge of this race, but either dry or wet, this will be a very demanding race.

Baja Oeste de Portugal returns to the region from November 8 to 10, 2024, with the nerve center at the ExpoTorres site, coinciding with the emblematic Torres Vedras Festivities. The race will share facilities with the Torres Vedras festivities, offering the public a unique experience.
Organized with the involvement of various entities, including OesteCIM and the municipalities of Alenquer, Bombarral, Cadaval, Óbidos, Torres Vedras and Sobral de Monte Agraço, Baja Oeste de Portugal is held under the auspices of prestigious federations such as FIM - International Motorcycling Federation, FIM Europe, FMP - Portuguese Motorcycling Federation and FPAK - Portuguese Automobile and Karting Federation.
This internationally renowned sporting event will welcome around 200 drivers from all over the world, competing in the Autos, SSVs, Motorcycles and Quads categories. In addition to the competition, the Baja joins the Torres Vedras Festivities, where the public will be able to visit the Car Service Park, located in the ExpoTorres parking lot.
As far as safety is concerned, the event has the collaboration of all the main national bodies, such as Civil Protection, INEM, GNR, PSP and the Fire Brigade, ensuring a smooth and safe race for all participants and spectators. In addition, environmental sustainability remains a priority for the organization, with Escuderia Castelo Branco implementing a strict plan to minimize the ecological impact of the event.
For those unable to attend in person, there will be several live broadcasts, starting with the prologue, on the social networks of Escuderia Castelo Branco and FPAK, with summaries on national television channels.
