The third edition of Baja Satu Mare, the third round of the Hungarian Cross-Country Rally Championship, which is also valid for the Romanian Championship, is scheduled to be held in Carei, Romania from June 8th to 10th. Just like in the previous two years, the organizers are anticipating the participation of a high-caliber international field.

Once again, the rally headquarters will be located at the Karolyi Castle in Carei, Romania, situated near the Hungarian border. The Service Park will be set up near the castle, providing spectators with an up-close view of the race vehicles. One exciting addition to this year's edition is the live online broadcast of the first two special stages as well as the City Rally Show, which will take place at 7 pm on Friday, June 9th. The organizers will share the broadcast link on the rally's social media platforms, as well as the Hungarian Championship's channels. Furthermore, the spectator point maps will also be made available on these platforms for easy access and reference.

While entries are still open, the organizers have already confirmed that in addition to the Hungarian participants, several renowned international crews are also expected to join the starting lineup. "The tracks feature sandy terrain, with stretches adorned by acacia trees, making it crucial for the crews to exercise caution," remarked Attila Csato, a Hungarian member of the organizing committee. "We believe we have crafted a route that will pose a true challenge for both the competitors and their vehicles."

The rally covers a total distance of over 450 kilometers, with approximately 350 kilometers against the clock. The ceremonial start is scheduled for 2 pm (local time) on Friday, June 9th, right in the heart of the town. This will be followed by two special stages and the exciting City Rally Show, all taking place on the same day. On Saturday, the action continues with four additional special stages, culminating in the prize-giving ceremony at the Karolyi Castle at 9 pm.
