Tiago Reis/Paulo Fiúza in Taurus, Gonçalo Guerreiro/Pablo Huete in Polaris, Jorge Cardoso/André Barras in Ford won categories T3, T4 and T1

João Ferreira/Filipe Palmeiro in Mini T1+ were the big winners of the ESC Online Baja Montes Alentejanos 2025, the round that marked the start of the Portuguese Cross-Country Championship run under the auspices of the FPAK. The competition also saw Tiago Reis/Paulo Fiúza in Taurus take victory in Category T3, while Gonçalo Guerreiro/Pablo Huete in Polaris won Category T4 and Jorge Cardoso/André Barras in Ford triumphed in Category T1.

In the final selective sector of 167.44 kilometers, the national champion duo João Ferreira/Filipe Palmeiro in Mini were once again the fastest. They spent 3h56m23s, almost five minutes off the previous day's time on the same technical, fast course, but still with many wet and muddy areas, and finished this PEC2 with a lead of 3m14s over Tiago Reis. It was, however, the João Ramos/Jorge Carvalho duo in Toyota Hilux T1+ who finished the race in 2nd place overall.

The fight for third place and the lead in the T3 class between former national champions Tiago Reis and Miguel Barbosa, navigated respectively by Paulo Fiúza and Hugo Magalhães, was once again in favor of the former.

Two Polaris piloted respectively by Gonçalo Guerreiro and João Dias, navigated by the Spaniard Pablo Huete and Rui Pita, maintained a titanic duel, being 1st and 2nd in Category T4. They finished 11s apart in PEC 2 and 33s apart in the overall standings, where the Toyota Hilux T1+ of Francisco Barreto/Carlos Silva finished 11s behind Gonçalo Guerreiro.

The absolute top 10 was completed by two Can-Am T3s and a Ford Ranger T1. Edgar Reis and Fábio Ribeiro, in Taurus, were eighth, ahead of Pedro and Vitor Santinho Mendes in Can-Am. Jorge Cardoso navigated by André Barras won the T1 category.

João Paulo Oliveira and Vitor Cação in Nissan triumphed in the T8 category, Eduardo Rodrigues navigated by António Nunes in Toyota prevailed in the T2 category, while Miguel Teodoro/Vitor Rosado in Nissan came out on top in the T9 category.
