With a final pass through the 120 km selective sector, already used the previous day, SS2 of the opening round of the Portuguese National Off-Road Championship confirmed Bruno Santos on his Husqvarna as the winner of the 2026 edition of the ESC Online Baja Montes Alentejanos.
Finishing in 2nd position, 1m02s behind, was national champion Micael Simão on KTM, who also claimed victory among the TT3 Class competitors. Completing the overall podium of the ESC Online Baja Montes Alentejanos was Gustavo Gaudêncio on Honda, who won the TT1 Class, finishing 48s behind Micael Simão. In the final overall classification, 4th place went to Bernardo Megre, who had been the fastest in the prologue. Riding a KTM, Megre secured 2nd place in the TT2 Class.
In 5th position, João Duarte completed the TT2 Class podium and won the Junior classification ahead of Tomás Dias, who, also on a Honda, finished 2nd in the TT3 Class. The following positions were taken by José Luís Rijo on GasGas, 2nd in TT3, finishing 13s ahead of Gonçalo Amaral on Honda. Rounding out the Top 10 were Fábio Magalhães on Husqvarna, 2nd in TT1, and Jorge Leite on Kawasaki, who completed the TT1 Class podium.
In the Quad competition, which had seen national champion Tomás Paulo on Yamaha unable to finish SS1 the previous day, leadership and overall victory went to Ricardo Caetano on Suzuki.
Second place was secured by Martim Pedroso, who also won among the Juniors. Jorge Sampaio on Yamaha finished 3rd, 1m16s behind Pedroso. Filipe Rodrigues on CF Moto took 4th place and won the Veterans category. Tomás Paulo, who returned to competition today, was the fastest rider in SS2.
