bp Ultimate Adventure Team Ready for Baja TT Sharish Gin Reguengos/Mourão 2025
Gonçalo Guerreiro aims to defend his championship lead, while David Megre fights for the European title as the bp Ultimate Adventure Team returns to action at the Baja TT Sharish Gin Reguengos/Mourão 2025, held from September 12 to 14 in southern Portugal.
After the summer break, the team comes back stronger, with Guerreiro — leader of both the Overall and T4 standings — confident in the upgrades made to his Polaris RZR PRO R alongside co-driver Joel Lutas. “We used the break to work on the car and solved key issues. The Baja TT Sharish Gin is always a special event, fast and challenging, and we know exactly what our goals are,” he said.
Meanwhile, David Megre, on his KTM, is focused on reclaiming the European Baja Championship crown: “I couldn’t prepare the way I wanted, but I’ll give it everything. This is a race I truly enjoy, and the big goal is the European title,” he emphasized.
The 37th edition of the Baja TT Sharish Gin counts for the Portuguese and National Cross-Country Championships, as well as the Baja European Championship and the FIA European Baja Cup. The race begins Friday with a 5.7 km prologue in Mourão, followed by two demanding stages over the weekend, covering 697 km in total, with 417 km against the clock.
