bp Ultimate Rally Raid Portugal 2025: Bruno Santos Secures 2nd Place in Stage 4 of Rally Raid Portugal
Frutas Patrícia Pilar-backed rider holds onto 2nd in Rally2 and Top 8 overall
Bruno Santos delivered another outstanding performance at the bp Ultimate Rally Raid Portugal, finishing 2nd in Rally2 during the fourth and penultimate stage of the Portuguese round of the World Rally Raid Championship (W2RC). The 274 km timed special connected Badajoz to Lisbon, where Santos not only defended his 2nd place in Rally2, but also sits 8th overall, remaining the top privateer in the field.
“It was a really good day. We started early in the Spanish tracks, then crossed the border into Portugal. The stage had a great mix—fast sections and others more technical. At the beginning I struggled a bit, but then I found my rhythm, started gaining time, and rode with a very strong pace. I had so much fun. In the Alentejo, the crowds were incredible, cheering us on all the way, and it made the day even better. To finish here in Lisbon by the river, at such a special bivouac, was just fantastic,” said the Torres Vedras rider, supported by Frutas Patrícia Pilar and Momento TT, competing on a Husqvarna FR450 Rally.
The grand finale of the bp Ultimate Rally Raid Portugal will start and finish in Lisbon, with a 103 km timed special, before riders return to the bivouac at Doca de Pedrouços, Belém.
