-- THE FIGHT FOR POINTS IN THE MOST VARIED 4X4 TRIAL COMPETITION ON THE IBERIAN PENINSULA BEGINS
-- SEVERAL TEAMS WILL DEBUT NEW CARS IN OLIVEIRA DE FRADES

The long-awaited first race of the 2025 CISET 4x4 season is finally about to take place, kicking off the race for the points that will ultimately determine the winners of this competition. The CISET 4X4 Oliveira de Frades 2025, organized by the APTE and co-organized by the Clube Automóvel de Viseu, will be held next Sunday.

This first match of the year will take place on the Pedra da Broa Aerodrome track, a place that has already been visited by the CISET 4x4 caravan several times in recent years, and which once again promises to be the stage of excellence for the start of another edition of CISET 4x4. The organization has prepared an intense and adrenaline-filled experience for the drivers, with several very challenging obstacles scattered around a track designed in the airfield and surrounding area, making intelligent use of what nature has created. At the same time, the spectacle for the public is guaranteed, as the main obstacles on the route of the "Frango do Campo" Capital are strategically placed in front of the airfield area, from where you can watch the fights between teams and the efforts of the drivers, co-drivers and their spectacular cars up close.

More than just a 4x4 Trial race, the Oliveira de Frades event will be a test of the ability of men and machines to cope with the harsh elements and obstacles that await them. After months of downtime, the teams are now back in action with renewed ambitions, based on the experience they've already gained, or on the evolutions or improvements made to the vehicles, whose capabilities increase year on year.

The presence of most of the main animators from previous editions of CISET 4x4 means that those with ambitions for the top spots in the standings will have to be on their toes if they want to succeed. This start to the season will bring with it new vehicles and others that have undergone improvements, so it will be very interesting to watch the first “measure of strength” of 2025 and see at the end if all the evolutions and revolutions made by the teams have had the desired effect.

The CISET 4x4 Oliveira de Frades 2025 will be held at the Pedra da Broa Aerodrome, close to the town of Oliveira de Frades and with excellent access via the A25. Activity at the race site will begin at 8am on Sunday the 13th, with the technical and documentary checks. At 10.30 a.m., the prologue will be held, which will define the starting grid positions for the following endurance races. At 2 p.m., the green light will be given for the start of the endurance races, which will continue until 5 p.m., in a succession of spectacular races in which the teams will share a large part of the track, except for the specific obstacles for each of the classes.
