Columna Medica Baja Poland 2025 — Where the Pines Tremble and the Throttle Stays Down
Four days of world-class cross-country rallying in West Pomerania, a stacked international field, and free fan access to the action.
What, Where & When
From August 28–31, the rugged landscapes of Poland’s West Pomeranian region welcome Europe’s leading cross-country rally teams — cars, quads, and motorcycles — for the 17th Columna Medica Baja Poland, a round of the FIA European Cup for Cross-Country Bajas.
Based in Szczecin at the multifunctional Netto Arena, the route covers 637.14 km with 350.7 km of competitive distance across five special stages: a 9 km prologue, two punishing 144.6 km loops on the Drawsko Pomorskie Military Training Ground, and two 30.75 km Sunday blasts.
International Status & A Deep Field
In 2025, Columna Medica Baja Poland is part of eleven series, headlined by Round 7/9 of the FIA European Cup for Cross-Country Bajas. It also counts toward:
-
FIA Central European Zone (CEZ) Championship — Round 5
-
Polish Cross-Country Championship (RMPST) — Round 5
-
Czech Cross-Country Championship (MMČR) — Round 3
-
Polish Cross-Country Cup (PCC) — Round 5
The program includes Round 4 of the Can-Am Baja Promo, created by the Baja Poland Foundation to give non-licensed amateurs a professionally organized, fully secured rally environment.
For motorcycle and quad competitors, Baja Poland hosts Round 5 of the Polish Baja Rally Championship (MPRB) and the Polish Baja Rally Cup (PPRB) — alongside the Baja Promo ATV and Can-Am Cross Country series for amateurs.
Fan HQ: Netto Arena
Netto Arena is the heartbeat of the event — home to the ceremonial start, finish celebrations, and press conference. The adjacent service park is open to spectators, offering a rare, up-close look at crews at work and the perfect chance for autographs and photos.
Entry List & Big Names
The official entry list will be revealed Monday, August 25. Expect plenty of firepower: record holder Krzysztof Hołowczyc (nine-time winner) returns with Łukasz Kurzeja. FIA European Cup leaders Bartłomiej Wajzer / Ernest Górecki (after six rounds) are expected, as well as standouts Michał Małuszyński, Benediktas Vanagas, Martin Kaczmarski, and Włodzimierz Grajek in formidable T1/T1+ machinery.
The field will span T1/T1+ prototypes, production-based T2, SSVs (e.g., Can-Am Maverick), rally trucks, quads, motorcycles, and unique custom-built off-road specials.
