Hellas Rally Raid 2025: Day 2
The second stage of the Hellas Rally 2025 proved to be a challenging and dynamic day for all competitors. With clear skies and mild temperatures peaking at 24°C, riders faced a demanding 300-kilometer route characterized by varied terrain and complex navigation challenges.
Navigation once again played a decisive role, leading to several course errors throughout the field. Riders were tested not only on speed but on their ability to maintain focus and precision across an ever-changing landscape.
Yesterday’s stage winner, Jacopo Cerutti, opened the day and held the lead for the majority of the stage. However, in the final 40 kilometers, fellow Italian rider Leonardo Tonelli made a strong push, overtaking Cerutti to claim the stage victory.
The back end of the field also saw considerable reshuffling, with numerous privateers making significant gains in the latter portions of the route. Their perseverance and tactical riding brought fresh excitement to the competition and reshaped the standings.
Among the standout performers were the two leading Italian riders, Tonelli and Cerutti, who demonstrated impressive pace and consistency, setting the tone for a highly competitive rally.
