The Madrid-based driver and his co-driver Marcos Martínez secured victory in a race marked by mud and extremely demanding conditions.

The team completed a true survival race, where the reliability of the Toyota Land Cruiser once again proved decisive, securing their second win in as many appearances this season in the Spanish Cross-Country Rally Championship (CERTT).

“It was a very complicated race, but both Marcos and the car performed perfectly, and we managed to reach the finish and take the category win.”

Kobe Motor and Alberto Dorsch delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 Rally TT Jaén Mar de Olivos, the second round of the Spanish Cross-Country Rally Championship (CERTT), by taking victory in the T2 category after completing a highly demanding event. Over a weekend shaped by rain and heavy mud, the Madrid driver and his co-driver Marcos Martínez guided their Toyota Land Cruiser to the finish line, securing their second win of the season.

The Andalusian event, which was not initially part of Dorsch’s planned program for the season, became a major challenge from the outset. The rally began on Saturday morning with a short prologue of less than six kilometers, followed by the first stage, made up of three special stages of 69 kilometers on dirt roads and agricultural tracks—fast and technical, but completely muddy.

The start was not easy for Dorsch and Martínez, who struggled to find a good rhythm in the opening stage and lost some time. However, the team reacted quickly, and in the second special—run over the same course—they set a competitive pace that brought them within three minutes of the lead. In the third and final stage of the day, they maintained that progress and capitalized on a puncture suffered by their main rival to move into the category lead with an advantage of over five minutes at the end of the day.

Heavy rain forced race direction to shorten Sunday’s stage from 129 to 119 kilometers against the clock. Far from easing the challenge, the stage turned into a true endurance test, with extremely muddy sections throughout. In these conditions, the Kobe Motor crew once again demonstrated their consistency. The Toyota Land Cruiser, prepared by Miracar, performed flawlessly in the toughest conditions, while Dorsch’s driving and Martínez’s navigation were key to overcoming every obstacle. The team completed an extremely demanding route, ultimately securing victory in T2.

“It was a very tough race. On Saturday we didn’t feel comfortable at first, but we improved stage by stage and managed to take the lead. Sunday was even harder, with a huge amount of mud—it was practically a survival stage. Marcos was perfect, and the car worked without a single issue. In a season where we will compete in only a few events, taking two wins from two races is very positive,” said the driver.

With this result, Kobe Motor and Alberto Dorsch make a perfect start to the season. The team’s next appearance in the CERTT will be at the Baja Lorca – Ciudad del Sol, scheduled for May 29–30.
