Nuno Matos and Ricardo Claro are back in competition, participating in the Raid da Ferraria, following a strong showing in the most recent round of the Portuguese Off-Road Championship (CPTT) calendar.
At the Baja TT Norte de Portugal, Nuno Matos secured a spot among the top six in the overall standings and took the podium in the T3 category, a performance that boosted the team’s confidence for upcoming challenges.

“It was an important race for us, not only because of the result, but also because of what we were able to take away in terms of progress. We know we still have work ahead of us, but it was a very positive step,” says the driver.

At the wheel of the Amarok Proto, the duo heads into the Raid da Ferraria aiming to maintain a competitive pace on a course that is expected to once again test the team’s ability to adapt.
In its second edition, the Alto Alentejo race is expected to feature fast tracks and a significant rise in temperatures throughout the weekend, factors that should result in much drier track conditions than those encountered in the previous round.
Holding the race in Alto Alentejo also holds special significance for the driver from Portalegre, who is competing “at home” once again.

It’s always special to race here. We know the atmosphere well and feel the support of the people. We also hope that the Amarok Proto can once again perform at the level demonstrated in the last race, following the changes we’ve made,” he emphasizes.

After the positive signs shown at the Baja TT Norte de Portugal, Nuno Matos views the Raid da Ferraria as another opportunity to continue improving and fight for competitive positions.
The Raid da Ferraria kicks off on Friday with a prologue of about six timed kilometers, followed by four special stages over the weekend: SS1 (78.55 km) and SS2 (125.34 km) on Saturday, with the same distances repeated on Sunday, on a route that crosses the municipalities of Abrantes, Ponte de Sor, Mação, and Gavião.
