Olympia Rally 2024: Day 3 - Marathon stage begins.

Day 3 of the Olympia Rally! Today’s stage marks the beginning of the marathon, a true test of endurance and skill, spanning from Lalas to Xylokastro. This challenging leg took competitors through a variety of terrains, each demanding expert navigation and unwavering focus, with some riders needing 12 hours to finish the amazing route.

The riders started from Lalas, traveled to the mythical Foloi Forest, and ascended Erymanthos Mountain. They then headed north to Tripotama, Vlasia, and Kalavryta for refueling before continuing to the Helmos Ski Center to start the downhill route through Zarouchla, Zoris Mountain, and Karya, ending up in Xylokastro.

First to finish the stage was #302 Aart Van Vugt (NL), with #41 Ad Jansen (NL) in second, and #310 Martin Kalt in third.

1. #42 Ard Vermeulen (NL)
2. #41 Ad Jansen (NL)
3. #302 Aart Van Vugt (NL)

Tomorrow’s return is completely different as the riders close the marathon stage.
