Martim Ventura (Husqvarna), Rodrigo Alves (Yamaha) and Pedro Santinho Mendes (Can-Am) lead the CNTT

After the Alentejo, it's up to Beira litoral, with the town of Góis as its nerve center, to host the second round of the National Cross-Country Championship. There are 85 entrants, divided between the Moto (36), Quad (15) and SSV (34) disciplines, who will tackle a course that will use the mountain tracks of the municipalities of Góis, Pampilhosa da Serra and Arganil. Martim Ventura on a Husqvarna in the motorcycles, Rodrigo Alves on a Yamaha in the Quad and Pedro Santinho Mendes, navigated by Duarte Santos, on a Can-Am in the SSV, winners of the opening race, lead their respective disciplines in the CNTT.

On two wheels, Martim Ventura, who is riding a Husqvarna with which he won in Beja, will have as his main opponents António Maio, a Yamaha rider and eight-time National Champion, and Bruno Santos on a Husqvarna, two riders who also made the podium in the opening race. They'll be joined by Diogo Ventura on a Beta, a local rider and previous winner of this round in Góis. Other riders to note are Micael Simão on GasGas, Gustavo Gaudêncio, Fábio Magalhães, João Duarte, Tomás Dias, Gonçalo and Salvador Amaral, all on Honda, the brothers Bernardo and David Megre on Kawasaki and Bruno Borrego on Sherco. In the Quad class, where young Rodrigo Alves on a Yamaha came out on top in the opening race, the quartet vying for victory also includes João Vale on a Can-Am, champion Luís Fernandes and youngsters Tomás Paulo and Rafael Carvalho, all on Yamaha. In the SSVs, the list of main contenders for victory starts with Pedro Santinho Mendes, winner of the opening race, who is joined by Luis Cidade and Nelson Caxias, all on Can-Am, and Tiago Guerreiro, on Polaris. Mário Franco, on a Yamaha, also a very strong contender for the top spots, heads the list of competitors in the Yamaha YXZ1000R Cup, which is back in competition in the National Cross-Country Championship.

The 31st "Paraíso do Todo-o-Terreno" Raid is a competition organized by the Góis Moto Clube. On the first day of the race, riders will face a 2.5 km prologue followed by a selective sector (SS1) of around 250 km. The race ends on Saturday with the 75 km timed SS2.
