Joan Pedrero clinches the fourth stage of the Rally de A Estrada, leading once again throughout the entire day.

With the arrival of the late summer weather at the Rally de A Estrada, the pilots were getting ready to start the fourth stage, which, despite being short, had its own identity just like each of the stages experienced in this first edition of the Galician rally.

Spectacular landscapes of the mountainous interior of the province of Pontevedra, crossed by tracks, trails, and roads with constant changes in elevation, formed the fantastic menu of the day to savor during a 100 km special stage. Precise navigation required keeping all senses alert to avoid missing any of the instructions in a roadbook that seemed reluctant to reveal itself, adding extra value to the goal of this penultimate day.

Joan Pedrero started as the opening rider for the third consecutive day, with small navigation errors that allowed his pursuers to catch up, leading to exciting encounters.

Joan won the stage, securing the first position with a time of 2 hours and 5 minutes. Javi Vega had a fantastic stage, starting from the twenty-second position, and achieved the second place, 8 minutes and 29 seconds behind Pedrero.

Cristian Pastori claimed the third position, trailing by 9 minutes and 29 seconds, and the top five were rounded out by the Italians Fabio Lottero and Matteo Bottino, 10 minutes and 7 seconds and 10 minutes and 9 seconds behind, respectively.

Joan Pedrero: "It was a complicated day. I went out to attack to maintain my pace. I got lost at one point, and when I returned, I found another rider right behind me. The terrain today had a lot of markings, and it was tough to break away. We reached a point where there were five or six waypoints
close together. One indicated a barely visible path with vegetation; I arrived at the spot, confirmed it was the correct path, turned as if it wasn't, and he also turned back. At that moment, I entered the path and pushed hard to shake him off. It was tough mentally because being the first rider was very challenging, but in the end, I managed to build a good lead."
