The Final Round of Spain’s National Championship Promises High Drama: The 2025 Spanish Cross-Country Rally Champion Will Be Crowned in Cuenca

Starting this Thursday, Cuenca Motor 4×4 will bring together more than 120 teams — the very best from across Spain — at the Recinto Ferial de la Hípica.

The rally will take place on October 3 and 4 through the Serranía de Cuenca, one of the most stunning natural areas of Castilla-La Mancha. Excitement is guaranteed, as the national title is still up for grabs.

For the 11th edition of Rallye TT Cuenca, teams will face an 11 km Super Special Stage on Friday, October 3, followed by more than 400 km on Saturday, October 4, divided into two Selective Sections. The course will run through 25 rural villages, offering breathtaking scenery and showcasing the region’s rich gastronomy.

Among the headliners is Santiago Carnicer from Castellón, the reigning Spanish Champion and provisional leader of the 2025 season, who will compete in his Toyota Hilux Overdrive. He is chasing another victory that would secure him back-to-back national crowns. But the challenge is far from easy: Fidel Castillo (Can-Am Maverick X3) remains in contention, promising a fierce duel. Local hero Luis Recuenco and Federico Mogni will also battle for the title.

Another highlight will be the ParaBaja, Spain’s first inclusive motorsport competition, with nine teams racing alongside professionals on equal footing.

Dakar Stars Shine in Cuenca

Motorcycle competitors with Dakar pedigree will also add star power. Javier Vega (Kove 450 Rally EX), a former professional skier with seven Dakar appearances, arrives as the provisional leader of the Spanish Raids TT Championship 2025. Close behind him is Catalan rider Josep Pedró Subirats (Husqvarna FE 450), eager to claim the title, while Basque rider Urko Garmendia Imaz (Husqvarna FE 450) will fight for a place on the championship podium.

International attention is also on Cuenca thanks to India’s off-road star CS Santosh, competing on the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452. His participation has drawn Indian and British journalists, ensuring media coverage in India and across English-speaking countries.

A Championship Showdown with International Flavor

Scoring points not only for the Spanish Cross-Country Rally Championship, but also for the Iberian Trophy, the Yamaha YXZ1000R Cup, the Castilla-La Mancha Cross-Country Rally Championship, and the Bowler Owners Cross Country Rally Championship, Rallye TT Cuenca will provide a spectacular finale to the fiercely contested 2025 Spanish Cross-Country Rally season.

The event enjoys the official support of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha, Cuenca City Council, and the Provincial Council of Cuenca.
