TH Clothes Super SSV Ponte de Sôr 2025: Tomás Neves dominates the final as the trophy closes the season on a high
Well-attended finale once again decided in Ponte de Sôr
The fifth and final round of the 2025 TH Clothes Super SSV Trophy took place this Saturday, 13 December, once again in Ponte de Sôr, bringing together 30 entered teams in a season finale marked by strong competitiveness and the presence of several teams making their debut in the trophy.
The event consisted of a prologue and eight timed runs over the forest stage laid out near the Ponte de Sôr industrial area. The course, fast and particularly enjoyable, featured added difficulty due to heavy rain on the previous Friday, which left several sections slippery and with standing water. This demanded very careful terrain reading from the drivers and led to a few tense moments throughout the race.
Neves’ dominance and close battles to the finish
In the overall classification, Tomás Neves / Leonor Durão, in a Can-Am X3 (SSV T1), set a strong and consistent pace to win the event with a total time of 1h07m45s, a result that also secured them victory in the Federated T1 category. Bruno Martins / Eurico Adão, in a Polaris Pro R, finished second in Federated T1 and third overall, while Joaquim Dias / Patrícia Dias, in a Can-Am X3, completed the category podium.
Second overall went to Bernardo Passanha / Vasco Areia, in a Can-Am X3 (Hobby T1), after a very consistent performance, always close to the pace set by the winners.
In Federated T2, the battle was particularly tight, with Luís Lourenço / Ana Lopes, in a Segway Villain, taking victory, followed by Rui Abreu / Gonçalo Guedes and Jorge Cipriano / Pedro Cipriano, in a category decided by narrow margins with no room for mistakes.
Among Hobby T1, Bernardo Passanha / Vasco Areia confirmed their strong overall showing by winning the class ahead of Vítor Dias / Carla Palma and Ruben Rosa / Paulo Lopes. In Hobby T2, victory went to Diogo Francisco / Daniel Andrade, in a Yamaha YXZ1000, followed by Márcio Silva / Afonso Silva and Ricardo de Melo / Gonçalo de Melo.

In the Buggy category, Yuri Alves, in a Rage Comet R, was the race winner.
The day also featured the Mini-SSV category, where Mariana Laranjeira / Marco Laranjeira won in Mini B. In T0, Beatriz Martins / Catarina Plácido, in a CFMOTO 550, claimed victory and also set the fastest lap of the entire event, with a time of 3m25.388s, outperforming even the higher categories.
Among the Federated teams, the best lap time belonged to Tomás Neves / Leonor Durão, confirming the dominance shown throughout the day.
At the end of the event, Luís Pirralho, Super SSV Director, gave a very positive assessment of the season finale: “It was a final worthy of the Super SSV’s growth, with excellent team participation, including several newcomers, which clearly demonstrates the trophy’s evolution.”
He also expressed his thanks: “I would like to thank all participants, partners, sponsors and entities who helped make this event memorable. Everyone’s involvement was decisive for the success of this race and opens up excellent prospects for 2026.”
With the Ponte de Sôr final, the 2025 TH Clothes Super SSV Trophy season is officially concluded—an unforgettable year marked by competitiveness, sustained growth in team numbers and the consolidation of an increasingly solid format within Portuguese off-road motorsport.
