OPEN TO TA, T0, T8 AND T9 VEHICLES

The X-Offroad 4x4 Trophy officially gets underway in Mangualde on Saturday, 16 May 2026 — the opening round of a season built around vehicles, groups and stories that Portuguese off-road motorsport knows well, and that now have a stage worthy of their history.

What makes the X-Offroad 4x4 Trophy unique is straightforward: it is the only trophy-format competition in Portugal run exclusively for classic off-road vehicles. A dedicated, structured championship for machines that defined an era — not a one-off event, not a nostalgia class tucked inside a larger calendar, but a full season of competition built entirely around them.

The opening round takes place on a fast and spectacular course laid out across rugged, uneven terrain where the Serra da Estrela mountain range is anything but a backdrop — it sets the rhythm, demands careful reading and commands respect. A layout balanced between open, flowing sections and more technical passages, designed to show these vehicles at their best.

The trophy is open to vehicles from groups TA, T0, T8 and T9, with the latter two subdivided into Classics and Pre-Classics — a structure designed to welcome the widest possible range of vehicles and competitors, from those taking their first steps in off-road competition to the most technically demanding groups. The full technical regulations, including detailed eligibility criteria for each group and subdivision, will be published shortly.

Within the next few days, the organisation expects to release the Sporting and Technical Regulations of the X-Offroad Trophy, along with the Supplementary Regulations for the Mangualde round. Entries will open immediately upon publication, for what is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated debuts of the season.

All information will be published on the official website at: www.x-offroad.pt

The X-Offroad 4x4 Trophy is promoted by X-Adventure, under the authority of the FPAK, with the support of Todoterreno.pt and Rally-Raid Network.
