After a period away from competition, Transgrua Sport is back in racing.
The return took place last weekend, from the 17th to the 20th, at the Baja TT Sharish Gin, with João Lourenço at the wheel and David Monteiro as navigator, at the controls of a Can-Am Maverick R, in the T4 category.
The first day of competition started very positively, with the team achieving 8th place overall, out of a total of 66 participants. A result that demonstrated from the start the pace and competitiveness of Transgrua Sport in this return to racing.
On the second day, when the team sought to continue the performance achieved, a turbo failure forced them to retire.
The team remained determined to continue and returned to the competition on the third day through the Super Rally system.
Despite the effort to resume the race, a new problem, this time related to the brakes, ended up leading to a second withdrawal.
More than the final result, this participation marked Transgrua Sport's return to the competition, allowing the team to regain its rhythm, accumulate kilometers, and draw important lessons for the next challenges.
The next objective is already defined: Portalegre.
With the experience of this return and the good indications left on the first day, the team heads to the next race with renewed ambitions and a desire to fight for even stronger results.
The return is done. Now, Transgrua Sport wants to go further.
