As a service to the sport we all love and follow, Rally-Raid Network posts numerous media releases from a wide variety of sources on our website. Due to the large number, and some times short time available, it is nearly impossible to review each public release. These articles are written by reporters or press officers who work for various organizers, teams, drivers, riders, and other parties, and they do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Rally-Raid Network.
Preparations for Round One the Ingco Pary 400, a mere two weeks away, on 19 and 20 June are on track and promise to be a spectacular debut to the new season, at the popular resort destination Parys, on the banks of the Vaal River and in close proximity to Gauteng.
Round two and the highpoint of the championship, travels to Stella in the North West Province for the Toyota Gazoo Racing South Africa (TGRSA) 1000, the only Marathon event on the calendar on 24, 25 and 26 July.
Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM), a longstanding partner of Off-Road or Rally-Raid racing as it is now known, has established an enviable reputation as the host of the annual SA Marathon event, contested over three days and one-thousand kilometres of varying terrain pitting man and machine against the ultimate endurance conditions.
This year, this epic challenge will be hosted from the Lion and Sable establishment located between Vryburg and Mafikeng, a vibrant and well-known cattle and mixed-farming community, which also played host to the overnight bivouac for the inaugural SA Safari Rally in May 2025.
To enhance the adventure, bivouac facilities will be created offering on-site camping accompanied by true ‘Platteland hospitality’ encompassing hearty home-cooked meals and a deep sense of community commitment.
Round three, the Century Property Developments / Century Racing Outeniqua 400 has been rescheduled to Louvain Guest Farm after the devastating floods in May saw the postponement of the endurance event which will now take place on 28 and 29 August.
Round four and the penultimate round of a very busy few months takes us to Northern KwaZulu- Natal and the mining and cattle ranching areas of Vryheid on 9 & 10 October.
After a compact season, Limpopo Province and the environs of the lush bushveld towns of Northam and Thabazimbi are due to welcome us with open arms for the season finale on 13 & 14 November.
Despite the condensed calendar we are looking forward to a highly competitive 2026 season filled world-class action and plenty of inter-team activity.
