ENSENADA, Baja California, Mexico—Following three of four races in the 2024 SCORE World Desert Championship, 72 of the toughest racers in the world remain in the hunt to earn 2024 Rod Hall SCORE Milestone Awards, presented by Toyota Escondido.
The first three races, all held in Baja California, Mexico, were the 37th King Shocks SCORE San Felipe 250, in San Felipe in March, the 56th BFGoodrich Tires SCORE Baja 500 in Ensenada in June, and the 5th SCORE Baja 400, presented by VP Racing, in Ensenada in mid-September.
SCORE MILESTONE AWARDS
SCORE is presenting these prestigious awards to the world’s toughest desert racers for the 39th consecutive year. The Rod Hall SCORE Milestone Awards, presented by Toyota Escondido, will be presented to the car, truck, UTV drivers and motorcycle, quad riders who finish every required mile as official finishers in the 2024 SCORE World Desert Championship. Racers have been required to cover 1193.62 miles in three of the four races so far this season.

Most of the world's best desert racers will be in action at this year's legendary 57th SCORE Baja 1000. Finale of the four-race 2024 SCORE World Desert Championship, the Granddaddy of All Desert Races will be held Nov. 11-17, in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico, the Off-Road Racing Capital of the World.
Nearly 275 vehicles are expected at the start line with racers from over 35 U.S. States and as many as 15 countries anticipated. Pro and Sportsman classes for cars, trucks, UTVs, motorcycles and quads will be competing in this iconic SCORE Baja race.
Ensenada, “The Off-Road Racing Capital of the World,” is a coastal port city in the Bahia de Todos Santos area of the Pacific Ocean, 80 miles south of the U.S. border at San Diego.
The start/finish line will be on the fan-friendly Blvd. Costero in the heart of Ensenada adjacent to the iconic fan-friendly Riviera de Ensenada Cultural Center.
The reigning overall champions in this legendary race are Las Vegas’ Bryce Menzies (with co-drivers Andy McMillin and Gustavo Vildosola Jr), in 4-wheel vehicles in a Mason-built Ford Raptor, and the team of Juan Carlos Salvatierra (Bolivia)/Shane Logan, Lake Havasu City, Ariz./Diego Llanos, Argentina/Carter Klein, Agua Dulce, Calif./Corbin McPherson, Hurricane, Utah, in motorcycles on a KTM 450SX-F. For only the first time in history, last year’s SCORE Baja 1000 started in La Paz, Baja California Sur, and finished in Ensenada, Baja California.
TOP CLASSES
The 72 racers who have completed all the required miles thus far are from 21 different SCORE racing classes.
Leading the way in the chase for prestigious 2024 Rod Hall SCORE Milestone Awards, presented by Toyota Escondido, are 12 superlative stallions in the featured SCORE Trophy Truck division (including three in the SCORE TT Legend class for SCORE Trophy Truck drivers over 50 years old), five in the unlimited Class 1, 16 in Trophy Truck Spec, four in Class 10, nine in Pro UTV Open, three in Pro UTV FI (Forced Injection), and three in Pro Moto Unlimited.
