Tyler Lynn, 25, Mona, Utah, and Carter Klein, 20, Agua Dulce, Calif., of the Slam Life Racing team emerged as the overall winners of the 6th SCORE Baja 400, Round 3 of the 2025 SCORE World Desert Championship, held this week in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. The duo completed the challenging 425.41-mile race course in 8 hours, 28 minutes, and 7 seconds.
This marks their third consecutive victory of the 2025 season in the Pro Moto Unlimited class, aboard the No. 7x Honda CRF450X SLR/Honda, solidifying their bid for another championship title on Mexican soil.
Just one year ago, Tyler Lynn, alongside Justin Morgan, also clinched the overall victory at the SCORE Baja 400, successfully defending his crown in the event affectionately known as ‘The Cinderella of the Pacific’. The Honda brand continues its dominant presence in SCORE competition throughout the season.
At the finish line located on Ensenada’s Boulevard Costero, Lynn reflected on the team’s success in Mexico: “We had an amazing race day. There was a small crash around mile 190. I can’t thank SCORE enough for putting on an incredible race, and I’m grateful to all the staff and everyone involved in organizing these events.”
Hero Racing secured second place overall and in the Pro Moto Unlimited class, thanks to the efforts of Shane Logan, 24, Lake Havasu City, Ariz. and Ciaran Naran, 25, Huntington Beach, Calif. They stepped up following an injury to Arturo Salas Jr, 23, Chula Vista, Calif. (Tecate, Mexico), who supported his teammates from the sidelines. The team competed aboard the No. 1x Honda CRF450X.

HONDA´S DOMINANCE CONTINUES IN BAJA
In this 6th SCORE Baja 400, Honda continued its stronghold by winning 7 of the 10 motorcycle classes, including a notable performance by Mario Navarrete, 16, Tecate, Mexico, who won the Sportsman Quad class with a time of 10 hours, 58 minutes, and 11 seconds aboard the No. 116a Honda TRX450R.
A total of 177 teams from 24 U.S. states, U.S. territory Puerto Rico, host country Mexico, Argentina, England, Greece, New Zealand, Australia, India, and Ecuador received the green flag at Boulevard Costero in Ensenada. Out of these, 106 teams reached the finish line, resulting in a 60% finishing rate.
MORTON, BAJA´S BELOVED OFF-ROAD LEGEND
Tim Morton, a 2021 inductee into the Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Fame, served as the Grand Marshal for the 6th SCORE Baja 400. Morton had a busy week in Ensenada, not only flagging off various competitors but also coordinating logistics for several motorcycle teams.
A legend in the sport, Morton has secured 7 victories in the SCORE Baja 1000, 7 wins in the SCORE Baja 500, and 5 wins in the SCORE San Felipe 250. Beyond racing, he has dedicated years to supporting the people of Baja California, spearheading projects that deliver food, clothing, and toys to families in need across this magical region of Mexico.
