The Polaris Pro R proved to be very competitive at the 2023 Dakar Rally fighting often for the top 10. It was an incredible result considered that it was the first race for the new machine built in Polaris with no time to test before the competition started in Yanbu, in Saudi Arabia.
Two weeks later the finish in Damman, the adventure continues with the first round of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas that kicks off on February 2-4 in Ha Il, Saudi Arabia.

For this first event, the Xtremeplus team lines up three crews.

The very experienced Michele Cinotto, 2016 Dakar winner in the T3 category will team up with Dakar legend Maurizio Dominella. If we add their Dakar participations together, they can boast 38 participations. An absolutely record number!
The second crew is made by Maria Luis Henderson from Uruguay who has an impressive palmares in off road racing where he competed since 2002. He will fight for the positions that count with his navigator Juan Carlos Carignani
The third Polaris Pro R will see the young and talented Jeremy Warnia teaming up with Loic Minaudier, who has a solid background in enduro, rally raid and Dakar as motorbike racer.
“After a very demanding Dakar, in a week we will be facing a new challenge”, commented the team owner Marco Piana, “I expect a tight fight in the T4 category. I really looking forward to the race”.
