The 12th edition of Desafío Ruta 40 YPF INFINIA is already warming up its engines at Complejo Ferial Córdoba, which will open its doors to the public on June 1st at 11:00 am. The first teams have already arrived in Córdoba city to get everything ready for this fourth round of the World Rally Raid Championship (W2RC), which will take place between June 1 and 7.

Little by little, the first bivouac of Desafío Ruta 40 YPF INFINIA 2024 is starting to color with the arrival of the first structures to Complejo Ferial Córdoba. For the first time in the history of the event, Córdoba will host the competition and will be the venue for the whole of the pre-race events, the start, and the finish. In addition, the landscapes of this midland province and its mountain roads, which breathe the passion for the rally, will be the setting of the race in stages 1 and part of stages 2 and 5.

The time tests will start next Sunday, June 2 with the Prologue and then it will cover five days through Córdoba, San Juan and La Rioja.

The last test before the action

Next Saturday, June 1, the day before the Prologue, a Private Test will be held in the town of La Calera, very close to the capital of Córdoba. The circuit, located in the vicinity of Laguna Azul, will be open for drivers and riders who wish to make the final adjustments prior to the start of the competition.

In the morning, between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m., it will be the time for the Bikes and Quads to accelerate, while in the afternoon, between 2:00 and 5:00 p.m., all the car categories (Ultimate, Challenger and SSV) will be able to do so.

The public will have free access to the designated Spectator Zones (ZE) and also to the assistance area, located at Icardi Park in the town of La Calera. The spectator areas will be available at www.desafioruta40.ar as of Thursday, May 30.

The schedule for the first days of Desafío Ruta 40 YPF INFINIA

In addition to the Private Tests, the weekend will feature several activities for the crews that make up the current edition of the Desafío Ruta 40 YPF INFINIA, and obviously also for the fans.

From Saturday, June 1, the bivouac at Complejo Ferial Córdoba will be open to the public from 11 am to 7 pm. At the same time, the checks and Scrutineering will take place at the bivouac in Córdoba.

On the other hand, Sunday’s itinerary will start at 8 a.m. with the re-scrutineering. The first compulsory sporting activity will be the Prologue, which will start at 1 pm. In the afternoon, the Start Ceremony will have several surprises for the public from 5:30 pm and until the end of the Starting Ceremony. All these activities include the selection of the starting order for Stage 1 (6:30 pm) and the start ramp (7:30 pm).
