The orga team of the Desafío Ruta 40 is currently doing the reconnaissance of the roads that will be the highlight of the next edition of the Desafío Ruta 40. Scheduled to take place from June 1 to 7, this exciting race will be held in the regions of Córdoba, San Juan and La Rioja in Argentina, offering an unique challenge to the participating pilots and teams.

The recce is a crucial part in the preparation of any rally-raid competition, as it allows the orga team to evaluate the conditions of the terrain, identify possible difficulties and design a route that will later be included in the Road Book that the competitors will have to follow.

The Desafío Ruta 40 orga team led by Pablo Eli (Sports Director and designer of the route) is currently working on the roads in order to guarantee another amazing and new route in what will be an exceptional competition.

With a unique combination of terrains and breathtaking landscapes such as the ones that Argentina has to offer, the next edition of the Desafío Ruta 40 promises to be an unforgettable adventure for the competitors and, at the same time, a unique experience to live with a large number of spectators.

After a successful return to the international calendar in 2023, the Desafío Ruta 40 2024 is preparing to be part, for the second year in a row, of the World Rally Raid Championship (W2RC) with the presence of the best competitors in the world of the specialty.
